In 2014 we had a wonderful time working with the Vijay Brass Band, Luciterra Dancers, Vancity Bhangra Dancers, and Orkestar Slivovica to produce an evening event of non-stop Balkan and Bhangra music and dance. The evening included delicious Balkan and Indian snacks, a mehndi artist, and a grand finale where all the dance/music groups performed an arranged piece together! This show was so successful that we were invited (and happily accepted) to launch it on the main stage of the 2015 Vancouver International Bhangra Festival. This successful event was co-produced with Transformation Projects and Caravan World Rhythms.
