Our 2011 festival, West is East, featured bands Orkestar Slivovica, Lache Cercel and the Roma Swing Ensemble, Something About Reptiles, Zeelia, Raha Ensemble, Hazem Matar, Tambura Rasa, and Ben Meti. These Vancouver-based bands provided a wide array of music from the middle east and Balkans. This event was co-produced with Transformation Projects and Caravan World Rhythms.
