Slivovica Productions is proud to have brought another Balkan festival to Vancouver. This year we featured Demiran Cerimovic (Serbia), Fanfare Zambeleta (San Francisco), the m9 (Seattle), and Orkestar Slivovica (Vancouver). Folk dance groups will include Gradina Folklore Ensemble and the Vuk Karadjic Veterani Ensemble as well as individual artists Aviva Finkelstein (bellydance), Michelle Harding (flamenco), Dayna Szydrowski (body percussionist/tap dancer), and Farnaz Ohadi (singing in Farci for a custom song about the springtime). This event is co-produced with Transformation Projects and Caravan World Rhythms.
